Shipping policy

If you've just purchased an item through Didi and Dora, or are thinking of making a purchase but want to know a little more about how our shipping works, you've come to the right place!

Local pick up

Our pieces are always available for local pick up if you wish to pick it up yourself. 

Once you have made your purchase, we will be in touch with more details on how to pick up your item. We ask that you pick your item up within 2 weeks. 

Of course, if you are in the same location as the item but would prefer a local courier to deliver the item to you, this is also an option. More on couriers below. 

Other delivery methods: Fixed rate shipping and local or interstate courier services

Smaller items (e.g. lamps) are able to be posted at a fixed shipping rate. This rate will depend on the weight of the item and can be discussed by emailing us at hello@didianddora.com.

This will also be dependant on the fragility of the item, which we then may need to organise local pick up or a speciality courier for you, as we are devastated by the thought of one of our one-off vintage pieces breaking on their way to you.

If you are purchasing a larger or heavier item and cannot pick it up, it will also need to be couriered.

For Items Located in a Different State

For larger items that need to be couriered, you will need to arrange and pay for a courier to deliver the item to you. Again, we ask that buyers arrange for their couriers to pick the item up within two weeks. You may wish to obtain a quote from a courier before making your purchase in order to factor courier costs into your purchasing decision. Shipping / courier costs are not included in the cost of the item. 

To help our buyers with the courier process, we have put together a list of local and interstate couriers. It is just a starting point and you are welcome to use a courier of your choice, but we hope the list is helpful to you.
