Six piece tan leather lounge by Tibor Hubay, 1980s.

Each piece measure 80cm width x 80cm depth x 76cm height. The lounge can be configured in various ways with one corner piece, 2 pieces with one arm each and 3 single pieces.

The lounge is in great condition. It could use a leather condition on two cushions (as seen in the last 2 photos) but otherwise it looks like a brand new lounge.

Hubay, originally from Hungary but arrived in Australia in the 1950s, was a furniture and interior designer, who designed various buildings in South Yarra, including the fit out of the Jam Factory, a former industrial premises converted into a cinema complex and retail centre.

Hubay later reflected on his work in the 80s, "It was about creating a unique look for furniture, fabric, carpet and co-ordinated products".
